Alright so im thinking about getting a 10" Fi Audio Q... First, should i get the BP Power? Second, i was thinking about running the Memphis M1.1100 amp or the Alpine V Power 1000 amp or the kenwood excelon 2400w amp... What are your thoughts? If you know of a better cheaper amp ill listen to any opionions

Alright i just looked and saw a kicker 1250.1 amp and the sundown 1200D amp... They are all around $300-$550. So price isnt that big of a deal but which one would you chose out of all five?

personally i would get the bp option and pick myself up a sundown SAE-1200D. If you find the price of a new sundown too pricey, take a look at db-r.com for a refurbished one that will work like new.

sae1000d,sae1200d,or the saz1000d....im dying to play with the saz1000d..

alright so it looks like sundown is the best... where is a good place to find one cheap? I saw one online site where the SAE 1200D was $310... Is that about the best deal i could get on it?

new, yes. otherwise try the For Sale section or refurb DB-R, but $310 is prob the lowest your going to find it.

try Soundsolutionsaudio.com or Db-r.com for a used 1

both of these site r very well respected with great customer service

the sae-1000d and the sae1200 d are both on sale right now.

You Get What You Pay For, Don't Cheap Out On An Amp. You Don't Wanna Be Like These Hifonics Or Crunch Retards Out There.

It's Going Down, Son, Sundown.

Alpine, Kicker, or Sundown will do you right. All three will give underrated power and a clean signal, they are similarly priced, but Jake will take care of you if you should have any problems with the amp. Sundown gets my vote too.

I would be careful about using the word retards simply because someone didn't have the money to dish out on another name. Yes, they don't have much to offer for a good 1kw sub compared to some other companies, but their big power XXV Hifonics series and the Crunch 3000D-pro are great amps that a lot of competitors, with trophies, run.

Besides why go out of your way to bash a USA company?

All maxxsonics amplifiers will push within 10% of their rated power from the factory, and the competition series amplifiers rated power is actually tested at 13.8v and is tested to actual rms not the 10% window.

I mean, personally, I do think Sundown does make an outstanding product and some of the better amps out there, but so does fosgate, stetsom, audison, they are just a bit pricey.
