I bought it as a hybrid 15 xbl2 sub a few years ago. It was described as smilar to a brahma mk1.5, But it dosnt look anything like most of the brahma motors ive seen. Im thinking about having it reconed to an 18". But from what ive read the brahmas didnt do well as reconed 18"s. if anyone has any input on what motor this is, and if it would do well as an 18" let me know

I am not sure off hand. Maybe someone who knows these motors better will pop in.

I almost think thats either a Shocker Sig or one of the Adire off shoots like Better Audio

IIRC the Brahma's pole piece didn't extend past the top of the motor

Good luck.

i bought it from vitveet a while back as a hybrid xbl2. He never told me what motor it was, just similar to a brahma mk1.5

That is an RE Audio Destroyer motor. 8 inch motor diameter?

Destroyer had a 4inch coil.

That doesn't look like a 4inch coil gap to me.

Destroyer motor left.

The tinsels on the destroyer look special :)
