Posted January 26, 200916 yr Can you use a regular Sears 12v battery charger to charge the D3100. My charger has a 2volt and 6volt setting
February 5, 200916 yr 2 or 6 volts will not charge a 12V battery. You need to use a 12V AGM battery charger to properly charge AGM batteries. You can use a regular Sears 12V charger if you are in a bind, just be sure not to let the voltage exceed 14.9V during charge.
April 13, 200916 yr what if you charge it in like 5 increments with a schumaker charger at 20 amps and I think the highest voltage it can get up to on that level was 15.7 or so it wasnt past 15.9 I know that I would have to double check the model number but its a 12 volt charger but its capable of charging 16 volt batts too
