with two upgreaded cells.

ohm's law says that 2000w at 12.5v is 160a, or 140a at 14.4v. but thats at 100% efficiency, amplifiers normally run around 80% or so.

since your alternator also has to power your car, and your other amps and accessories, youll definately be running short on juice unless you have a decent sized battery bank.

with a couple decent batteries, you could get by for a while. it just depends on how much you abuse the equipment.

upgreaded cells??? um like kinetics batterys???

or power master or deka... but 2000 watts can be carried by two yellow tops aswell

it states a 140 amps@2000rpms of the alt not the motor... and all alts lose efficiency as they get warm so your really lookin at 100 amps or so hot...@2000rpm... and at 800 rpm is like 50...

what kinda amp?
