i'm planning to put 2 mayhem 18 on my wagon walled. will it be fine to feed them monster with 2 saz3000d each subwoofer? thanks

two per sub for everyday? They won't handle all of them for continuous playing. Nor will your charging system unless it's ungodly. For comps they will if you know what you're doing, but that's the same with any amp on any sub, whether it be same as the RMS of the sub or 8 times as much.

If you know what you are doing. . .but I don't think they are going to take it daily for long periods of time.

I run mine on 40.1's @ 0.5 ohms with absolutely no problems, but from what I read on the 3000D, you will be well beyond what I am giving each one.

Do you have the 3000D's yet? If not, you can preorder the new 3500D. I would think (1) 3500D per sub is enough for music.

For a daily setup, also consider (4) 15's on (4) 3500D's. I had better luck with music on (4) 15's vs. (2) 18's in the same airspace.

so i'll stick with 1 saz3000d on each mayhem sub? planning on getting 4 mayhem 15 with 4 sundown saz3000d

  • 2 weeks later...

1 Per sub is plenty for a daily setup.

Thanks,

Scott

He was asking about (4) 3000D's on (2) Mayhems, or 6000 daily.

3000 daily is no problem.
