Posted February 13, 200916 yr I am getting a new 2001 mustang soon and looking into a new system to put in it. I measured and the largest box i could possibly fit into the trunk is 15x28x38. Somewhere suggested 2 SDC2.512-D4 and a AQ1200D which would run me a little under 600.I would like to be able to hit lows pretty good if possible. I was just wondering if this would work or if there is anything else that would be a better fit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

February 13, 200916 yr Author ok well thats good news thanks. Last forum told me id never fit it in my car and to go with 2 type r 10s but idk i kno i got 8 cubes of space no prob,,,was gonna try to go for 2 15s but thats overkill in a little ass mustang
February 13, 200916 yr Some forums are DUMB. lolThe AQ amps put out their rated power and more. Just make sure to mat the crap out the truck. Ever thought about replacing the back seat? LOL That's what I'm doing in my girl's Mustang.
February 13, 200916 yr yea, my girlfriend has a 2000 mustang and it was pretty hard to get the box through the trunk opening but space was good when it was inside the trunk. i wished she would let me put two more sundown sd-v1s in there.

Just watch the clip LED on the Gain knob when bumping. I am working on getting a 4 12"s clamshell in her car now. Should go bump top down or up.
