February 25, 200916 yr you wanna send more the 4 volts to your RCA inputs on your amp? not needed no.. if anything you run the risk of sending a cliped signal into your amp...
February 25, 200916 yr Author Ok, i dont need the line driver. So if my HU is putting out 4 volts, then i need to set my gain to about 1/4 correct? I read the thread about setting the gain but didnt get it really, am slow i guess, lol. Is this correct?
February 25, 200916 yr Admin The line driver argument is an on going one. I had a need for one due to some voltage drop over very long RCA runs in a prior install.
