Hey. I just ordered an rl-p 15 and now I need a little help designing a ported box for it. After talking with Mike, I have decided to go with 2.5 cu ft net tuned to 28 hz. I would like the box to be about 30x17 1/2x??? Also, mike recommended somewhere between 35 and 40 sq inches of port area. Thanks.

    Given your numbers, I'm finding 2.51 cu ft net internal volume after all displacements are factored in.

    With end correction of (2.3 x 1/2), I'm finding a vent length of 44.15 in.

    Which gives me a tuning frequency of 28.34 Hz for your design.. should be a nice box! thumbup.gif
