attractive subs,

but why the different cone materials?

and I thought the motors would be larger for some reason, I am very curious about them, because they are getting ridden hard by the fan boys on Sound Domain

Cone is paper, dustcap is carbon fiber. Actually, I believe the carbon on the dustcap is merely cosmetic.

As for the motor structure, well, it's not as anemic as it looks. Reminds me of the old Onyx LMs. About the same size. The photo is a little deceiving. These are only 300 watt drivers, so no need for a large motor structure. The coil appears to be a 2.5" on the XBL^2 motor design.

We'll see how they perform. I just wanted something cheap to get me by that I knew I could work with and make a quick re-sale when the D2s come in. B)

Re sale to me :)

The way my installs are going here lately, they'll probably still be un-used.

i'll build ur box man...lol...all u gotta do is install...

and the cost? those subs when done!

Buildind the enclosure is going to be the easy part. Getting the car ready to travel and accept the install is going to be tedious. I don't know that I have the time right now. IF the weather were better, it'd be a different story.
