How well do these subs handle daily? I have around 2.7-2.9cuft NET MAX to work with (after port). What frequency do they like to be tuned to? I would like to daily beat and do comps so 38-40hz, or preferrebly lower? I would probably run 1000-1100wrms daily and 3000 for comps (a memphis mcd1000.1 and a sundown 3000.1) with a second battery, big 3, and 130amp alt (factory 90amp).

daily good/bad?

what do u guys think?

They can handle that just fine for burps. I would stick with the 36-38Hz tuning recommendation if you want to swing both ways. I think you would be impressed ;)

What kind of vehicle?? Depending on the size of the enclosure, in my Jeep there's no reason to have a ported enclosure tuned below 40 hz. My SPL 12's are loving 1500+ watts each :D

Um, when I tested the SPL-12, it played very well in a ported box tuned to 27hz. I kind of wanted to hear the lowest of octaves.

Yeah, they play that low in my Jeep also :D But the slight gain of tuning an enclosure that low in my Jeep isn't worth losing the huge peak at 40-45hz

While they can take a fair bit of power, I still warn against using them too far below Fs. 32Hz is fine provided you don't plan on dumping 3kw into them. The closer to Fs you tune to the more power and louder you will be.
