i was wondering how muc amplifierpower i would need and whatkind of amp to get?

Something that will to 1,500-1,600 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Kicker 1500.1 would, or a Sundown SAZ-3000D.

shoulda got dual 1s but kicker probably would be you best and cheapest bet, might be able to find one used

could do a pair of amps, run each one at 1ohm or strap a pair

Well with TWO dual 1's the amp I would recommend is the Sundown SAZ-1500D

so the sundown 1500 would handle both subs witno problem all the way to max peak power

The SAZ-1500D puts out about 1,700 watts RMS at 1 ohm. You would run both.

2 D2's = final load of 2ohm (rare to find an amps max output @2ohm.

2 D1's = final load of 1ohm (1ohm stable amps are EVERYWHERE)
