March 10, 200916 yr Author its a custom build enclosure for my trunk , I know that's not a good idea Edited March 10, 200916 yr by chico305
March 10, 200916 yr Admin Okay, lets start over. You are looking for a high output 10" sub that will play well in a small sealed box? And should I guess it needs to be dual 2 ohm or SVC 4 ohm for that amplifier?
March 10, 200916 yr The RLi 10 works well in that enclosure but it's definately not a high output subwoofer, especially in that enclosure.I suggest adding polyfill to that box and using a more output oriented subwoofer, like the FI BL.
March 10, 200916 yr Author thanks, you think it would produce better then the others?I saw a FI SSD10 Fs: 28.3 Hz | 27.6 HzRe: 0.75 Ohms/coil | 1.5 Ohms/coilQms: 4.17 | 4.27Qes: .48 | .44Qts: .43 | .40Mms: 166g | 175gCms: 0.19mm/N | 0.19mm/NSd: 310cm^2 | 310cm^2Vas: 25.6 l | 25.6 lSpl: 82.7dB 1W/1m | 82.7dB 1W/1mBl: 9.3 N/A | 14.1 N/AXmax: 21mmRms: 800WSealed box: .2-.6 cuftPorted box: .9-1.5 cuft @ 33HzSub OD: 11.000”Cut ID: 9.250”Mounting depth: 6.000”Displacement: 0.12cuft Edited March 10, 200916 yr by chico305
March 13, 200916 yr Definitely go with the FI BL sub. I had to do about the same thing as you for my car. It sounds really good with good depth.
