Posted March 11, 200916 yr I am modding my PSP, taking out the disk drive, and soldering 16gb more storage onboard. Where could i find some beast microspeakers to fill the empty bay? I cant find anything smaller than 1" so any help is appreciated!
March 11, 200916 yr Try looking on Madisound.com. They have a very large variety of all kinds of speakers.Make sure whatever you pick is compatible with the internal amplifier though.

March 12, 200916 yr How much space do you have exactly?the inside of a psp game bay, minus the UMD cd readerThat means nothing to me. Never even seen a PSP, nor do I care to. Measure your actual space and stop being lazy.
March 12, 200916 yr Is whats in there broken or are you just trying to put something bigger in there? If you are looking for something bigger and add bass or something to it, you are not going to find anything, in order to get big sound out of little speakers, you need BIG enclosures.
March 12, 200916 yr If anything you could try ripping apart headphones. Not sure what you mean by the 'game bay' either, never used a PSP nor held one but I'm assuming you mean the regular game console hand held thing?
March 12, 200916 yr Save time and money and just buy a good set of headphones.Going to have to agree with this. It is hard to beat a good set of cans.

It is hard to beat a good set of cans. It's not for quality, it was just for fun. Anyway, i traded it for a blackberry curve, and that for used laptop so i'm happy anyway.
