A job is finally making this all work out, money helps buy stuff. OKAY SO anyways. I want to install Headlights in my F-150 2001 Lariat and i have no idea how to go about this. Anyone know some good brands? Prices on getting this all done? Difficulty of Installation? Overall Suggestions? Thanks for any help, Murph.

March 12, 200916 yr Are you looking for just new headlight assemblies or brighter bulbs? If you are looking for brighter bulbs i would suggest getting a set of my HIDs that will be ordered up here soon. But if you are just looking for assemblies, like something with a projector or halos or whatever else i am not sure? I can also help you with wheels and tires if you would like, just shoot me a PM and we can talk.

March 12, 200916 yr are you replacing the housing? or the bulbs? you can get decent bulbs on ebay for CHEAP, i have them and like them a lot, super bright, not more than 20$ HIDS are sweet but there money!!! im satisfied with just better bulbs.

March 21, 200916 yr Author I decided to buy O NEX 10,000k HID's (105$ on ebay) i installed them myself. The First, right light was easy simple to screw bulb in and to do wiring. The left light proposed a problem. After un-screwing my radiator fluid tank (which was in the way) and squeezing my hand behind it to install my left headlight i got it on half way after 30 minutes of pain. Today i figured out i could have done it all in 10 minutes due to me finding tabs on my truck that could be lifted and the headlight pops right out. FML But i saved money because my local shop said that with O NEX HID's and install it would cost 300$... Epic Win Pics up tonight under My System :] under show off and pics topic
March 21, 200916 yr Author if you go HID on that ford you WILL lose your high beams.I noticed. But i can buy the bi-xenon bulb later on
March 21, 200916 yr Author why would you buy both?to upgrade to have high beams. but i think my lights are too bright to need high beams
March 21, 200916 yr you cant run both at the same time.... its one of the other.... HID's are pretty nice.. i hardly ever find my self wishing i still had high beams. but here in texas we have a state inspection and you must have high beams to pass... unless you know an inspector that is willing to risk fines for you. but if you get xenon bulbs say like 80w/100w fords have a hard time running that current with the OEM wire.. its like 16 gauge or somthing... and they will melt over time...
