Posted March 13, 200916 yr AQ recommends what seems to be a pretty high tuning of 38hz. does anybody with these subs tell me if they can still dig pretty deep notes (i listen mostly to rap, but i also watch DVD's in my car)thanks

March 13, 200916 yr Admin If you are tuning that high, you are going to miss out on the lowest of low freq's, and if the company that builds them is suggesting to tune that high, maybe you are looking at the wrong drivers.

The SD2.5's hit the lows very well according to our customers. Of course they don't listen to Mormon pipe organ music either.
March 16, 200916 yr Author well i guess we need to define "low" notesright now my box is tuned to 38hz and its ok for most stuff, but low 30's and it really starts to drop off. im looking for something that will be strong it that area (and i know i can try building another box for my current sub, but im looking to upgrade anyway)
