Everyone told me fi was better then memphis but i have some questions to be answered.

Okay, So i have a 2001 jetta, i dont know how big my trunk is and i suck at math.

I was orignally going to get 2 12's btl but everyone told me that i would neeed to upgrade my alternator and the big 3.

is this true?

so my other option was to go with the 2 12's BL, but i dont know if i would still need to upgrade anything electrical.

but either way, i would perfer to get the btl but dont have enough money to get a new alternator and the big 3

okay, now either way if i were to go with the btl or bl, what would i want to configure the woofers too?

i would be using this daily, so i asuume i would do daily, but everything else.... wtf does it mean?

P.S How do 2 12" BL sound? do they get loud and hit low?

Hellllllo, yeah the btl's are 2k watts rms, so at least 4k watts and deff will need to upgrade.

the bls are 1k each rms and 2k you would still need some kind of electrical upgrade.

What kind of upgrades would i need to power the 2 BL?

Is it going to be the same upgrade i would need to power 2 BTL?

big 3 dosent cost much, just about 10 ft of 1/0 gauge and some ring terminals.

i have 1500 watts with big 3 and a optima red top and its still paying a toll on my 80 amp alt.

if yours is a little bigger you might be fine.
