Would a the US Amp MD 2D be enough for 2 10" SSDs with the copper coil? The does the amp really produce 1500 watts at 1 ohm? Or is it overrated?

If it puts out that many watts, it would be a good choice for a pair of SSD's. I'm not familiar with it though.

yeah well theres a US AMPS section on the SSA forums and i found it cheap... $269.95! When everywhere else has it for around $800

MD2D, not familiar with the site.

I know so im going to get a better site to match the deal hopefully

They usually have to be an authorized dealer to do a price match.

40x3

1500 Watts At 1 Ohm For $269 ?

Hmmm

I Would Have To Say Its Overrated.

Usually Amps That Put Out 1500 True Power Are Within A Price Range Of $300 - $ 500

However I Could Be Wrong

What Is The Fuse Ratings On IT ?

40X3....

You Do 40 X 3 = 120.

So That Gives You A Total Of 120 Amps.

Times That By 12 Volts Which equals 1400

I Dont Know What The Efficiency Rating Is On The Amp But The Amp Is A Bit Underrated.

However Id Does Put Out 1400 Watts At 1 Ohm Which Is Close To What You Said.

Do You Know The Efficiency % Of The Amp ?

I Could Tell You The Exact Amount It Puts Out.

Thanks

I looked At The Website And It Says The Efficiency Rating For 1 ohm Stable Is 77 %

So 1440 X .77 = 1108 Watts RMS

Thats How Much The Amp Puts Out Safely At 1 Ohm Stable

Hope This Helped

If You Have Any More Questions Id Be Glad To Help.
