Posted April 5, 200916 yr I got a pair of these bad boys and since I'm limited on the small lip usage of the subs, I'm wondering what everyone else used to secure them to the enclosure. I thought about using cap screws and spiked bolts but may not work due to the shortness of the lip. I'm in the middle of revamping mine.
April 5, 200916 yr I've used both regular wood screws and t-nuts on my 10. And they worked just fine. I have also read about people using t-nuts for the 8. Just make sure you glue the t-nuts to the enclosure.
April 5, 200916 yr i've used woodscrews and tnuts with my rl-i8, never had an issue. woodscrews are the easiest, tnuts the strongest..like adrian mentioned, make sure your resin/glue the tnuts in.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
