I have a 12'' fi q with the bp option in a downfiring box 2.5 cu ft tuned to 32 hz. I have a hifonics bxi 1208d powering it. I am worried that i am clipping the signal. I had the radio turned up to 25 ( goes up to 62) and everything sounded good and crisp but when i turn it up to 50, it seems like the bass isnt as loud and not as crisp. Idk if i have things set right. Here are the places i have things set two:

Subsonic: Three o'clock

LPF: 1 o'clock

Gain: 12 o clock

Bass Eq: 12 o clock

I know hifonic amps are known for clipping and are pretty cheap. I just need some advice on what this is. I dont wanna fry my baby.

Hifonics amps aren't known for clipping, 'tards are known for clipping. Read this to learn how to set your gain with a Digital Multimeter. If you don't own one, I highly suggest you pick one up.
