I have a 12'' fi Q and when i got my box built the guys put a separate wire on each voice coil. Its a dual 2 ohm sub. What is the final ohm i am getting once i connect it to my amp?

You have 2 options.

1ohm load: 1_2ohm_dvc_1ohm.gif

4ohm load: 1_2ohm_dvc_4ohm.gif

I have a hifonics bxi 1208d. the sub is already in the box and the wires are already ran outside of it. The guy said that it is a 1 ohm final load. I just wanna make sure.

*just to make things clearer i have four wires ( two positive and two negative) ran outside my box*

Check it with a Digital MultiMeter (DMM). If you don't have one you can pick one up at any hardware or electronic store around. It's a good tool to have regardless.
