More and more lately I see more and more ROE members, most that are 15-21 that have probably never owned used or seen halfway decent equipment giving advice on which sub is better or amp, box etc. And the people asking these questions are honestly looking for an honest answer from someone knowledgeable that has either use seen or has worked with "x" product. I just see WAY too much this sub sucks or this is better when they've probable never heard seen or used any.. sorry to rant just my 2 cents... Joe...

Dude I feel you on this one man. I'll even take it one step further and say that even some mods on a few forums are young punks that only know what they know from reading it on the forums that they're on. They think just because they've read someone else's experiences that they are their own and gives them the right to an opinion on something that they've never experienced before. Most of these mods/members tend to be fanboys as well.

Quick edit:my comment has nothing to do with anyone here on ssa. This is one of the most knowledgeable sites on the web :)

/\ there are some bleed overs from ROE and SMD and such here too that give bad advice. :(

Rare as those sort of shenanigans we try not to stand for but don't want to over moderate the forum either.

It's a tough balance to keep, but I think you guys do pretty darn well! However, if a few people never did show up around here, it won't bother me to awful much.

It is tough with ROE as Shon asked for our help then pretty much went MIA. I know Mark has lost a lot of interest due to giving so much time and effort to help someone else run their site, and I am beginning to feel the same way. Other than doing the occasional admin/mod duties and answering a few SSA questions....

I mean, there are thousands of spam accounts that need to be removed, there are loads of tasks that need to be run which could help improve the site some, that Mark and I do no have access too. I have no idea if Shon is backing up the site or not. Also, the banners need to be updated badly, along with a near total forum section re-organization.

Perfect example of what this topic is talking about: interesting suggestions

I feel there just needs to be a slight understanding by new members to respect the people who run the site and how they run it. :fing34:
