Posted April 18, 200916 yr i built a sealed box for this sub .6 cubic feet and it sounds good but it depends on the notes and it just drops off different notes and its loudness lacks majorly im very disappointed in this subwoofer... i have 800 rms going to this sub at 4 ohms and my amp can be wired to 1 ohm at 1600 watts rms and it still sounds like crap? help a brother out.... thanks im at lose and ready to sell the box is air tight its a good box. i m lost ?
April 18, 200916 yr http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.htmluse this to make a box according to Fi specs, which are on their website. for a ported Q 10, .5-1.2 ft^3 with a recommended tuning of 28-33Hz, but I've heard that 32 is the best balance between low end and high output
April 18, 200916 yr just make sure that with your dimensions you take into account that you have to slide the box in and out through the trunk opening
