will the position of the subs have an effect on how they play? i was leaning more to a multiple sealed setup in a fiberglass box with the subs firing at different angels

You shouldn't shoot angels, messing with a higher power can't be good.

holly shit.. that is so fucking funny.

your the man sean.

i know mark said not to go with the xcons, but if you would like loud with good quality i would go with the xcons. skip on the mainstream subs they are a waste of money. learn about products and people who do it for more love not money(cause everyone does it for money no matter what) and you end up with great equipment from this forum.

most likely all prefab crap. a custom ported can be built to sound how you want. the box is the most important part of what makes a sub sound like it does and a lot of prefabs are to small and tuned high, loud but sound like crap.

i have a 83 delta 88. with just the stetsom and four 12's hit 141.8 i know that's not a lot but it pisses people off had old people pull off from me on a red light before u can get a 200 amp (hot) alt for less than 150. bucks. right now i have two separate transmission line boxes that hold 2 subs a piece and it is very loud plays down low and real tight and punchy i can just imagine when i hook the two 3000d's up. u have room for four 6/9 in the back and should be able to fit 4/6 in your dash with some tweets and decent (clean) power it should sound nice two 12's or one 15 in a nicely built box should rock. basically what I'm saying is u can sound really good and u shouldn't have to spend a lot. start off with a good deck nice amp for your highs and then build up your electrical. then just go from there keep your ear to the ground and watch out for deals you should be fine. u have an email i can send u some pics. cant seem to upload em on here.
