didnt know where to put this but...

looking for an alarm system and i landed on the viper 7900 and viper 5901. which would you suggest and why?? thanks

The only things that would affect you are the 7900 is color and the 5901 is black and white. The 5901 is rechargable and the 7900 take a normal battery. plus the 5901 doesn't have an antenna to break off.

i heard the 7900 have a lot of issues with it opposed to the 5901. dunno if its true. but i can get the 7900 for 230 from sonicelectronix and the 5901 for 280...kinda in a dilemma ha

do you know if the issues with the 7900 is true?

Get the 5901. The 7900 had issues because of the antenna.

I would get the Viper 5901 (one I have now) or the Python 991... they are the same thing just with different names and different transmitter sizes.

think ill go with the viper. the python is 20 dollars more expensive
