Im getting a Fi BL very soon and I dont know which amp to go with. I heard hifonics is crap? Im not lookin to go all out and buy a $600 amp but I want this 12" BL to bump .... dont care TOO much about SQ Also, right now i have a kicker zx400.1 amp which I was planning on running until I can get a new amp. I will be making a ported box for the BL if that helps

Just save up and get an amp it deserves. Never understood why everyone is in a rush.

Not really in a rush, Im going to run the kicker 400.1 for a little while until i save up enough. I just wanna know what is a good amp for the BL 12. I want to see what amp Im going to buy so i know whether to pick the dual 2 or dual 1 ohm sub. Is a 1 ohm stable amp the best bet?

refurb sundown saz-1500's are more than enough power for a bl and run about $350. i doubt there would be a noticeable difference between the 1k and the 1500, i'd get whatever your budget allows.

Where could I get a refurbished sundown? Will the BL bump with my kicker 400.1 ? right now I have that hooked up to 2 12" Dual Subs in a bandpass for 170.00
