April 16, 200520 yr Author And here is the 12 and 15 together (the 15's chrome job had an accident - it will not be wavy like this pic).
April 16, 200520 yr Looks awsome!!!! Now for the rest of the T/S?N/M I see the T/S now, what is the name if this driver going to be? I am guessing that you will not be using the Magnum name, also will you be planning on making another batch of the original mags to use as maybe a lower end in the SI line up?
April 16, 200520 yr Author Our logo will be the only thing on the dustcap. It will either be white or silver in color. The basket has the same satin (not glossy) silver finish as the very last production run of Magnum's had. The old Magnum design is being retired. These new drivers are the Magnum's replacement and they are a lot better than the previous drivers in every aspect. When we make lower lines of subs they will be different than the previous Magnum's also - for cost and performance reasons.
April 16, 200520 yr so, whats your ideas for the names?and why no claws :*(from what i heard about the previous mags' - they kicked serious ass, and your telling us these are 'better in every aspect'?must be some seriously sick drivers if you claim them to be that good how about "howitzer" or "mortar" if you are going to stickw ith the gun\weapon terminology...or if you wanna go with the 'best' terminology - maybe "monolith"?
April 16, 200520 yr Author The new subs might just be called the SI 12's and SI 15's. No name has been set for the new drivers as of now.The claw basket tooling went bye-bye quite some time ago. Rumor has it that pieces of the tooling are in Russia, but that's not certain. And yes, these new drivers are that much better. My sister has had her Magnum for about 3 years now and when I plopped the proto in her car the first thing she said was "wow, it's a lot louder then the old one" shortly followed up with "can you sell my Magnum and give me this?"The new drivers are exactly where I was hoping they would be. Their performance is top notch and the build quality is top notch. The Magnum (if I could it that) is finally where I want it with this new design. More low end, same controlled accurate bass, and more efficient. ...speaking of which, anyone want to get on a mailing list to demo this thing?
April 16, 200520 yr Author how about "howitzer" or "mortar" if you are going to stickw ith the gun\weapon terminology...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>They were actually named after a kart chassis - a very well handling karting chassis.

April 17, 200520 yr i like is the build house destijl or something? looks very similar to something they would make, but then again so do a lot of subs. Also, when is this going to be sent out for demo'ing?
April 17, 200520 yr I'd love to demo this sucker, or just get my hands on one, or maybe even 2 SI 15s!!!Now I gotta sell my Mag15, though I really don't want to, but since the new ones are much better in every aspect how can I resist.WHEN IS PRE-ORDER!!!???? also know a release date by chance?
