Up until recently Ive been thinking about going with a single 12" BL, SX, LVL4 XL, or BTL. But now after talking to Rusty, Im thinking anout going with 2 10s instead.

Im still currently in the planning stage and i wanted some imput on what to do. Ill have roughly 2.5ft?^3 to work with under my back seat after I lift it 2 inches.

I mainly listen to rap, and my goals are to get loud and low.

ill currently do not have an amp, but ill be matching the amp to the sub/s.

I would go for 2 10's ported. I got a SSA Icon recently and it has no problems goin' loud n' low.

BTW the truck like in your sig looks tight.

Space is my guess. Most people who debate between 1 12" and 2 10"s usually ends up being a space issue.

2 10's. More power handling, motor force, and cone area

I would go for 2 10's ported. I got a SSA Icon recently and it has no problems goin' loud n' low.

One 12" is equal to 1.66 10" in terms of cone area. You also have to factor in the extra power. Remeber that to gain 3db you need to double the cone space or double the power. You wont get 3db with cone and power increase....maybe 2db which you can barely hear.
