i am proud to say that i just placed my order for 2 - 12" Fi q subwoofers. i cant wait for them to arrive. i had 2 alpine type R subs hooked up to a 1000 watt hifonics monoblock amp. do you think these fi q subs will pound alot harder than the type R subs? The Q's will be powered by a brand new hifonics brutus amp rated at 2000 rms at 1 ohm. any comments or suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

You reference "pound" so there is a 99.9% chance you should have bought the BL's.

I installed a single 12" fi Q on around 800 watts and it suited my needs for output and SQ..

yeah i think the fi q will suit my needs perfectly. i want great sound quality but i also want that bass that you can really feel ya know
