Posted June 2, 200916 yr Is there any advantage or disadvantage in going with the Bp version. Plus should I get the 2 ohm version? Right now Ive got 600w into 2 ohms.. The Pioneer Mono doesnt do 1 ohm... I will upgrade someday... And lastly with the SQ of this sub be much better than the Pioneer sub I have? Below are the specs and I know specs dont mean that much... June 3, 200916 yr Advantage is extra cooling and mechanical durability. Disadvantage, slight loss in SQ vs standard sub.For those that need the extra power handling, the change in SQ in a ported application is really negligible. For SQ purists, standard version and power handling should be more than enough. If amp makes power into 2 Ohm mono... you would need a Dual 1 Ohm coil. Wired in series it will yield the proper single 2 Ohm load for the amp. Thanks,Scott
