Well I just had a box made for my 15" BTL and they kinda messed up...first they made the woofer hole facing up and the ports facing up also....do the ports facing away from cabin sound louder? Also i found out that the box is tuned to around 29hz....how will that sound?????? Will it sound good..will it be loud most also? I listen to mostly all rap just to let people know (i know rap sounds better in different boxes hz wise)...The box is around 4cuft also just to throw that out there. Help is much appreciated thank you. Here's some pics.

By Traditional Standards, Sub Back/Port Back And Sub Up/Port Back Generally Are Louder In A Non-Walled Trunk Car. (Mainly Because Of Cabin Gain.) Those Ports Look Kinda Small For A BTL Too, I Don't Think There's Enough Area. 29hz Is Low Tuned, It Will Sound Good, And Be Quite Loud, But Not As Loud As Say 33hz Or Around The Normal Daily Tuning.

i could probably just flip the box so its facing out...the terminals will just be on top and it'll look kind of dumb but at thispoint who cares....its for sound..not looks....i'm calling the guys today to hopefully get a new one made...i did give them exact standards and they fucked it up

i asked for 3.5cuft-4cuft and for it to be tuned to either 32hz or 33hz...stupid ass guy that took the measurements must not have gotten that through to the actual box builder.

Well that could be tuned to 32 maybe but you need to specify how many square inches of port you want or it won't sound good.

Edit - and i mean specify to the box builder not to us.
