hey whats up fellas, new to the site, and a little frustrated and impatient lol, for a minute i was so positive with the sub i was going to go with for whatever reason it was, but basically it was suppose to be a single aq hdc3 12" and now i dont know if thats the sub i should go with, :faintthud: after searching on various forums and this one, i hear that the aq hdc3's might not be what im looking for, but anyways here is what my status is:

2000 cadillac deville

using a sundown audio 1500d amp, $400 budget for sub(s), a blow-through pete kulicki designed box, used as a daily driver, and for the box 3.0 to 4.0 cu ft is what i have to work with due to the fact that i have a daughter and need to carry strollers and other items in the trunk on a daily basis, so for the enclosure i really cant go that big, honestly im not good with the whole box tuning freq. thing yet so until then all i can really say is i do listen to a lot of hip hop and spanish music, and as corney or as young as it may sound i want it to be as loud as possible, am i into sq yes, but then again for the setup i am going with which is very very loud mids (pro audio for voice), im not sure if the sq will actually matter in the end, but then again i dont know.. as for spl competittions, no the build is not for any spl comps, just for loudness clarity and bragging rights to the buddies lol

subs I've looked at as a possibilities all in 12" sizes:

ssa xcon (someone mentioned they have good sq, and high output, but i dunno why i havent been sold on it yet)

aq hdc3

dc audio lvl 4 or lvl 4xl (seen a lot of hype on them lately, but i honestly dont know there going price, and i emailed rusty, no respone yet)

fi btl or fi bl

for all the subs above i have not heard any play, all i have gone is off hype on forums, budget, and youtube (im sure some of u will get probably mad at that one, but hey its the truth lol)

i guess in the end i want the best bang for my buck, i dont care for the brand in reality, clarity and loud will do the job for me lol, if any of u guys have any suggestions plz do post some input, i already have everything for my mids and bass amp, so all im wating for is the sub and what box to end up going with, oh and also the reason why im going with a blow-through is because i want as less vibration in the trunk as possible and more bass in the cabin, considering its a sedan, and i will be using second skin for sound deadening in the trunk but not a crazy amount either..

im open to the idea of multiple subs as long as its an a blow-through (3-4 cu ft.) design and in the budget..

Welcome .... :drink40:

All choices would be a good choice!

Take a look at the Mach 5 Audio IXL line, Incriminator Audio and the new Sundown Audio Z15.

greatttt old skool, more items to make decisions on now.. j/k lol let me go google them now! lol

Take a look under the manufacturer forums for Mach 5, Incriminator and Sundown.... :bigclap:
