Well im getting the 2ohm Fi 18 BL and i found an amp that has 2ohm 1000wattrms with 2000W MAX,,,,,,other amps with a max of 1000W have a 2ohm 500w RMS,,,,,,,what do i need for my subwoofer 1000W RMS i guess??? Can someone tell me whats the difference betwee 4ohm,2 ohm,and 1 ohm,and what do they do???

Ohms is a measure of resistance.

Need to match the sub and amp.

If you bought the 2 ohm version of the BL, you will wire the coils in parallel making a 1 ohm load.

Find an amp that makes max power at 1 ohm, not 2.
