I would like to try some thing new right now im doing about 140/143's I would like to be able to do 145 and but sound good to I just dont know if it would be louder so I'm just trying to get a idea of what people are doing..FYI I dont think 145's will be to hard b/c I have a civic hatch back :)

O and im not asking "will it be louder" that's a newbe Q Im just curious as to what DB's you are getting

Edited by JEREMIAH....

I did a 140.7@44hz in a 2.4 cube box that was tuned to 27HZ on ~1200rms.......

And the driver was inverted as well.

If yo have a bigger/higher tuned box.....I believe mid 140's would be possible.

My initial conclussions are that my Pair of IXL 12's are louder. We'll find out Sunday if I am correct.

And "What db's are you hitting" isn't a newbie question? How does what somebody else meters help you?

It is going to be difficult to get a high number as most IXL 15's that I know of, if they are ported, are tuned low like Puggsley's, and not seeing gobs of power.
