June 15, 200916 yr Hi guys, can someone explain what loads would i get and how to connect 2 triple voice coils subs (8ohm per coil), thankswhat type of speakers are you running but if you hook all of the leads in parallel you will get a 1.34ohm load are these subs or speakers i would be the same load.
June 15, 200916 yr Are you sure they have three voice coils? I've never seen a sub with three. It's either 1, 2, or 4.

June 17, 200916 yr Author thanks for reply guys, those subs is rated at 210rms (overrated) (subs from creative s750) i have 2 of them, and yup they have 3 voice coils, so i would like build cutom box for them, and hook on home theater receiver, if this is posible :bigclap:

June 18, 200916 yr do these subs have a name?Anyways, if you wire the coils in each sub in series then parallel the two subs, that's 12 ohms. If you wire all coils in parallel on each sub then series the subs, that's 5.3 ohms. All in parallel = 1.3 ohms.
June 20, 200916 yr They might handle more power then that depending what box you put them in. The whole sub unit itself is driven by a 210 watt amplifer.Does it have a power rating on the back of the mag?
