Cuz i live in europe, i have no idea how much is it in cm :/

5.18922 mm in diameter if you are in need of 4 gauge wires. I only converted the inches to cm and didn't look up the amp.

20mm2 ...yep thats about right ;)

If 4 gauge is 5,2mm diameter, then i would use this wire for speakers, its tiny :S

20mm squared is the area of 4 Gauge.

5.189mm is the diameter.

Do you go by area or diameter?

Edit: I think you go by area...

Edited by tech2332

yes ...he will take 20mm2 (4 awg)

there's a misunderstanding here.

You, the original poster, are referring to Surface area.

phi is referring to just the diameter.

Here is a list of Europe vs America-

4/0 107.16mm2

3/0 84.97mm2

2/0 67.40mm2

1/0 53.46mm2

4 21.14mm2

8 8.36mm2

I would suggest 4awg or 20-21mm2 wire. It has a rating of 60A fusing so 4awg\20mm2 is the preferred choice.

Thank you all, ill go with 20mm2

1/0 = 50mm2

4 = 20mm2

8 = 10mm2

those r the sizes here in Europe :fing34:

looks like they just like to round things off rather than be precise.

i prefer to be precise at least two places after coma.

1 mm2 = 0.00155 inch2

its more than 2 numbers after you still like it more precise
