In your sig it says you have an SAZ-1500..

Just use that..

I think it should be plenty.

yea but i wana try sumin different.

Just buy as big of an amp as you want then. It'll handle what it'll handle. Are you going to measure the amplifier output? And besides, power handling is box dependent.

.....Why? You Already Have The Best Amp For That Sub. You Can't Really Get Any Better.

o wait my bad. i was thinkin for sum reason he meant just use the sub and amp i have now and not get the IA lol.

im gona use the 1500d.

i was just wondering if it could handle the 1500d and maybe more.

i jus wana no how this sub is before i buy it :)

i no how much its rms is but i wana no how much it can actually handle.

like with my bl its rms is 1000 but it can take way more.

In my opinion if you have to ask how much it will handle, then you shouldn't put any more then rms.

if you dont ask questions about subs that you have no idea about how would you learn about them?

i was jus talked into goin with IA and ive never looked that much into them.

As with any sub if you want to put more then rated power to it, you should know when it is reaching its limits. Someone could say they put 2000W to their DR, does that mean your going to be able to do it in your install. Maybe, maybe not.

thats exactly why im askin this question?

i wana know its limits.

If you have any doubts that the SAZ-1500D will not be enough get yourself a SAZ-2000D. :fing34:

What box are you going to put it in?

What box are you going to put it in?

its about 6.3 cubes at 32 hz

You could probably reach full mechanical capability with 1200 watts or less.

ive been looking at the dp's to.

i cant decide now.

i want something thats gona slam but still have good sq.

which one is more capable of that?

i no people dont like to hear it but i want an LOUD SOUND QUALITY sub and i read on the review the dp's are exactly that.

Edited by iputon326

the DR will take the amp, just be sure to set your gains properly, and know what your doing. people always put more power to get the most out of it. but they know what they are doing and could run more power without damaging the sub. if your BL can take the 1500, then the DR can do the same.

so should i get the dp or dr?

i just got my deathrow up and going. im using a sae-1200d to power it. based on my 2 days having it, i have been blown away. it gets very loud when called for, and sounds good doing it. my box is tuned to 32hz and it hits the lows all day long and sounds great doing it. either choice will be great, just dont under estimate the deathrow.
