Posted June 23, 200916 yr Would it be ok to temporarily run my bl 15 (dual 2) on one voice coil at 2 ohms from a kicker 300.1 until i get my t10001bd. or will this blow the sub from lack of power.
June 23, 200916 yr No such thing as to little power... 300 watts on a BL you could proly clip the shit outa that thing and not hurt it. you will be fine just dont push that lil guy too hard and make it sound nasty
June 24, 200916 yr What do you think is happening when you have your head unit at volume 5 even with a 1000 watt amp?Just wire the coils in series. Who cares if it's only 150 watts at 4 ohms.
