Posted May 1, 200520 yr Admin here is a couple of vids shot on saturday afternoon at the Maryland Hunt cup,the music is Rusted Root, I choose this song because the bass is very low, and the sub just jumps when played with it, hope you guys like it, sorry about some of the backgroup chatterhttp://www.realmofexcursion.com/videos/Sou...ototype12.2.wmv
May 2, 200520 yr Author Admin keep in mind, the amp is less than 1/2 gain, and all that I have on the signal is the Overdrive, I am sure it is making a difference, but the vid really shows the efficency of the sub, if I buy a pair I will reshot a vid with the bass cube on them and see what happens then
May 3, 200520 yr Author Admin Why isn't the cell phone in the vid jumpin around it is sitting on cushioned carpet, the floor it is sitting on asorbs alot of vibrations, but it did make my exhaust and drive line shake
May 3, 200520 yr Author Admin I am really happy on how clear the video is, good thing I waited on sunlight, I need to shot more vids and use the HQ mode, this is cool because I usually shoot on SQ and was making me want to buy a real digital video camera, but not now
June 5, 200520 yr I am really happy on how clear the video is, good thing I waited on sunlight, I need to shot more vids and use the HQ mode, this is cool because I usually shoot on SQ and was making me want to buy a real digital video camera, but not now <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Wouldn't the sub have moved more in a sealed enclosure? I always thought there was supposed to be less visible movement in a ported or vented box. I guess it shows what I know.
June 5, 200520 yr if the sub plays below tuning or 1 octave above tuning it moves more than sealed of the same volume in most cases. however, you are right, around tuning ported doesnt move that much but it s a LOT louder.this is very evident in sine sweeps and steped tones...example: my audiobahns in my room (hehe) are tuned to around 30Hz and on a 20-80Hz sweep they will move a crap load at first, you can tell when they hit low 30's because the movment is reduced dramaticaly, and once it gets around high 40's low 50's it increases agian.
June 23, 200520 yr they don't work for me when I clickk them... Is this normal? Should I consult a physician???
