Damn that looks like fun.

The van's covered in mud, too, but that's because we decided to go "offroading" on a part of campus that roads didn't get to...lost, hell, we're not lost, we're ahead of the people writing maps!

Mine either, in fact I don't even bring the SRT to work because of the dirt road.

dirt...hah.

Maybe if I actually had a vehicle that I cared about keeping spotless...

And if I get an FJ40 to replace the van, that thing will live in the mud.

Only one of the best 4wd vehicles ever made ;)

Land Cruiser > Jeep

Landcruiser > Current & Recent jeeps.

Nothing beats the old jeepee's though

ptshhh....i should get some pics of my truck tearing up the sand pits by the rail road tracks in the middle of the night. its really cool because you ahve the head lights on and that is all you can see is the beams if you are outside of the truck.

I got one of those in my yard! It's the father-in-laws though. I'll get a pic in a few, when I go get the wife from work.

In what ways ?

how about the fact that they will never brake down. or maybe the fact that you cant get them stuck if you have any knowledge of how to off road. or maybe that they just have tha safari look, espeically with the flat tan paint job.

yota pwnzzz joo

For Supa...

ass shot of an FJ40:

But, if you really want to go places...for a while, I was considering one of these: http://www.coldwarremarketing.com/images/5751827.jpg - a '75 Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer. Front and rear diff locks standard, very high ground clearance, 24V electrical system, blah blah. One of the ultimate offroad vehicles ever made - and you can get one for really cheap. Like $15k cheap.

Along similar lines, http://www.coldwarremarketing.com/images/ym.jpg - a Mercedes Unimog 404...probably a better offroading vehicles than the Pinz, but it's really underpowered stock - people report that they can barely make it up hills and the top speed on the highway is only around 50mph. But they can do some crazy things on a trail...Hummer performance for the price of a Civic.
