Just wanted to drop in and join your forums and hope for a good community feedback and learn a few things.

Im an audio enthusiast, but have been out of it for the last 5 years... (no car)

I've been out of the loop with what good sound quality is as well as new developed subwoofer.

So I recently bought an is300 and trying to work on buying pieces to fit the car sound system.

So far, on hand i have is the Cadence iA4 for my components. Im still shopping around but not in a rush to get everything at once.

So, for now, I'll stick around and learn of a few new things to come

Ok, so I been reading around the last week or so from this site as well as others. This will be my next setup for my Lexus IS300. Im looking into more SQ then SPL, but a little of both world wont hurt. Just keep in mind that these by no means is the final results and I'm looking at roughly $2k to spend, more or less

HU : Eclipse AVN 5510 or 6610 ($450 - $550)

Front : ID CTX65cs ($180)

Rear : ID CTX65 ($160)

Sub : Fi Q or Si Mag (12") (Both price at $250) a little unsure about which to get

Comp Amp : Cadence iA4 (owned it - got it for $200 )

Sub Amp : Saz 1000D ($280, if i get it by the end of the month)

So the total brings me to $1620, IF I can get my hands on some of the stuff by the end of the month. Any thoughts or comments about this setup for SQ with some SPL would be great.

Sounds good, but I would suggest starting a new topic in the general section to get more focused input on your goals.
