Hello, I joined this forum to learn about this new company SoundSplinter, well at least new to me. Speaking of which how long has SS been around.

To be honest I have been a JL Audio Fan, they make the best Amps hands down. But I don't think there subs are a good value at all. So I have been in search of a new subwoofer to replace my 12w6v2's.

I am now a father, (my son just turned 1 last Friday!) So I don't have the need or space for big bass system. But I still want to crank it when I am ridin solo. I actually just reinstalled my system about a week ago, because babies and pregnant woman don't like bass. I am looking to get a single 8 or 10. The RL-I8 is very impressive; I just wish I could hear one.

Is there anyone is West Michigan that has any SS audio subs?

My current set up is Panasonic head unit with an Ipod hooked up, JL Audio 500/1, two 12w6v2, only one is hooked up, the other is blown. Not sure how that happened?

Here is a little background= I just graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. But I can't find a job in west Michigan because the job market sucks badly!! Right now.

If anyone wants they can check out my outdated website HERE it

Welsome to SSA!!!

Congrats on being a father :D
