I have two MA XL15s that I want to recone. how do I go about doing that. Must I ship the subs to FI? here is a picture of the sub in case people don't remember them

Im familiar with the basket, but not those motors. What size coils are in them? MA has used some US standard sized coils in the past, so the possibility is there, but not sure. Best bet would be to send one in for measurements and for us to fit parts. As it isnt something we have reconed before (or at least I dont have notes on one) we wont charge to ship the sub back... just for the kit in it .

What the cost usually on something like that?

Absolutely depends on the size of the coil, coil type, suspension and other parts. From $45-130 plus shipping. Big SPL monsters with expensive flatwind coils and lots of suspension and integrated leads... up to $130. Smaller motored subs with smaller coils and lighter duty parts start at $45. Not worth our time to do anything less expensive than that when you factorlabor costs for a kit vs what a skilled tech could be building.
