Posted May 22, 200520 yr Hey I was just wondering the amount of power that can be put through a 12 RL-P as compare with a 15 RL-P? I want to distinguish if I should get 2 12s or 1 15. I am looking for a system that has great spl but at the same time has good sq! Thanks for the help. Mike

May 23, 200520 yr Squeak is correct that it will largely reply on your box. Additionally, powerhandling on the 12" and 15" models of the RL-p series is for all our purposes equal - so indeed a more relevant question would be to compare the suggested power handling between two different boxes.For your question, ONE RL-p15 would handle roughly half as much as TWO RL-p12's, cumulatively.
