Thinking about upgrading my head unit to something that is ipod friendly with good sound quality and high pre-amp volts. Eclipse Cd 5030, Jvc Kdr 900, Clarion Dxz 785 are some of my choices, my brother say i cant go wrong with the eclipse, suggestions and opinions will help very much. Thanks alot!!!!!

do you have an ipod/itouch/iphone? because the IDa-x100-300 series from alpine are pretty phenomenal in my opinion they're fairly cheap, no cd though

the clarion has good ipod control, and you can run active 2way plus sub (also has TA and seperate rt / lt gain and seperate eq). downside is the screen is hard to see w/ a glare

I like the Pioneer P88rsII a lot ....great sound quality ,good EQ
