The Focal's'you've listed are sounding good, but if you can afford the K or KP series, it would be much much better!

I love my 165KP, but I have to admit I've heared much better sounding tweeters. I don't want to change them, because they are part of the set and I use the passive crossovers.

I have changed a lot of things in my system, but the Focal's'will not move until they blow!!!

Don't forget some sound deadening in your budget : it's'really important for your doors.

Buy a cheaper set but add the deadening material: sds, secondskin Damplifier, Dynamat,...etc

I think the most important parts in a system are the front speakers AND the head unit. So, make a good choice!

so would i just get say dynamat door kit?

I would recommend Don and his products at http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi. He has done the research and testing to give the best option when it comes to deadening. I have bought and installed the CLD Tiles and Butyl Rope and the results were great. Plus the service is top notch as are the products.
