I bought a box i just saw some of the glue is coming undone so im gonna glue it again and screw it down and seal up the inside. But i need to know what it is tuned to here are the measurments thanks in advanced. I have an L715 in a ported box the measurments are 16" h 40" w 17.5" d and the port is 3.5" w and 13.375" deep. I would like to know how many hz it is tuned too and how many cubic feet it is after port and sub displacement. Thank you

so the height of the port is 14.5" ?

looks to be about 4.6 net tuned to ~34 hz... port area look to small @ 50 sq inches (should be about 15 sq inches per cubic foot)

Damn you beat me to it, I got tuning around 34Hz with 50in^2 but the internal volume is 4.44ft^3.

I havent used it but will be when I start my install, alot of people on this site use and are very happy with it (it has more strands than Kicker Hyperflex 1/0 which I use now).

It could be a number of things, distortion/port noise.

Check your amp settings:

LPF-80Hz or lower

SSF-1/4 of the way or higher

Bass Boost- Off

Phase- 0

Gain - should be set with a DMM (check under Amplifeirs/Headunits/Electrical thread and look at Setting Amps Gain Correctly)

Head-Unit

Loud- Off

Bass Boost/Extension- Off

If it is still doing it then it may be port noise or the actual speaker itself. Get back to us when you have some more information.
