Overall I was wondering the pros and cons of each of the woofers. I would be putting four of them in my trunk. Sq isnt much of a priority. Which would be louder and handle more power? Im lookin to run about 1000 rms each on whatever one i get.

Since Sundown is close to you, Jacob might be able to demo the SA-12 for you. But keep in mind, it is a driver rated at 600 watts.

then when somebody gives you one you can just turn around and send it my way. fing05.gif

You live in NC ?

Go Sundown. It would be easier for you!!!

But I think these 2 subs are so different, are they your only options?

Nope, but these subs seem to be good for the money, and I kind of need subs that thrive in a small box as I have to fit them in my trunk. I would be open to any other suggestions though. Nothing more than 200$ shipped though. I do live in NC though.

Never heard the Sundowns so I can't comment on them. I own a pair of the AQs and the SDCs would get nice and loud off 1000w RMS a piece. Just be careful with the gain. IMO, for the price you pay on these woofers they are a great deal.

They're both good subs, but since you're closer to Jacob/Sundown. I'd get a demo and then choose from there.
