October 9, 200915 yr Author if these are 12s, i'd recommend 2-2.5 cubes per sub tuned to 34hz.okay check my math out here...........outside dimensions for the enclosure are ; 19"d X 17.5" W X 14" H (the mdf is 3/4")........so that is 2.02 cubic feet.the port measures 12.5" H X 10.875" D X .875"W so if i subtract this and the inner port wall displacement from the enclosures, it puts me at a volume of 1.89 f^3 .........if i did the math right the port is tunned at 32hz.i am not sure of the displacement of the sub, but it looks like this box might be choking these subs some if i have done the math right... thanks for the help.chop

October 9, 200915 yr AW120Q? or AW1200Q? ive never heard of the 120's before, and Ive owned the 1200's before. I had one 12 in a box that was around 3.5 tuned to 35 off around 400+ watts and it was pretty damn loud. and Ive never heard a Xcon, or a Q, or anything like that, but I had no complaints with the sound of it, because I was more interested in loud, which it was.both the other series of bahns Ive had were both in pretty big boxes also. never gave any of them their actual RMS rating, but I always had them in a pretty big box. and they all lived through it.
October 9, 200915 yr I think I remember now they had the "excursion" "high excursion" and "ultra excursion" 120/1200/1205.

October 10, 200915 yr I am not gonna lie, I had 2 audiobahn aw1206 on a hifonics bxi2006d. For the money I spent I couldnt have been happier. This was my first install and didnt really care as much about the way it sounded but how loud it could get. Back then the louder it was the better it sounded. I traded them for a set of cvr 15s and to be honest with you the audiobahns actually hit more precisely than the cvrs did. The cvrs got a little sloppy.

October 10, 200915 yr Author tune those fart mongers higherlol, yeah we are planning on it, i think he will have the cash for the mdf next week, i am sure mdizzle will jump right in there on a box design.
October 10, 200915 yr ya i sold my bxi to my friend. I get a little jealous each time I see it. He has his blending with the blue neons in his car and it looks delish. It actually does rated power too despite what most people have say. Great amp for the money.
