so i got everything hooked up. pictures tom. but i need some help setting the amp. im going to be using a dmm on the gain but what should i have everything else set on? where should i put my subsonic, lpf, bass boost and phase at?

not to mention the problems im having with tuning the deck. im lost with this thing. it will be quit but then when i set a premade eq's it chages big time. any of them are 3 times as loud as when i mess with it.

Yeah don't dick with the built in eq settings. Like has been said before in other threads, eq'ing down is better than eq'ing up. But, whatever you do, set all that up before setting your gains. Subsonic should be slightly lower than the tuning of your enclosure. lpf is all based on how you want it. bass boost leave turned off. And you can mess with the phase but most leave it at 0.

The frequency response is nearly identical..fresh subs have to break in as well.

yeah, it sounds good tho. im happy with it. i hope when it breaks in it will get a little lower.

so i went to my first comp today and got 2nd in the bass race and third in db drag. i hit 144.7 on music. i think i could have got 145 but i couldnt find any really good songs. i was winning the bass race at 139.9 but busted is the last 3 seconds.
