Posted November 11, 200915 yr Im new to fi audio. A friend told me about them and i fell in love with them. Right now i have 2 JL 10w6d2 witch i ripped the cone on them with a 1000v1 arc audio pushing them. I want to get some fi subs but im not sure witch ones would be right for me? I have 2 arc audio amps both 1000v1 but one is a Kar series and the other is a KS series, with about .8 cubic ft for each sub in a ported box. I was thinking about getting some bl 10s and use both 1000v1 amps and have one to each sub but im not sure thats a good idea or should i go with the SSD or the Q. If i could get some idea would be a big help for me!!!!2001 Chevy Ex cab Z71Alpine deck CDA-9886Clarion EQ ESQ746Arc Audio Kar 265 Components Arc Audio KS 300.4 For highsArc Audio Kar 1000.12 Jl audio 10W6d4Yellow Top Batt.6 Far. November 11, 200915 yr I wouldn't mix amps like that. And get rid of the capacitor. What are you looking for out of this system?

More towards 1.2 ft3 if possible. Or you can also do two 12 Q's in a .8 ft3 each sealed enclosure. More towards 1.5 ft3 if possible. It depends on what sound you like more. The smaller the box, the tighter the bass response. The larger the box, the boomier the bass will sound.
November 12, 200915 yr Because you listen to a mix of music like big rank said the Qs would be more suited for you. the BL will get louder but, the quality with some types of music will not be present vs the Qs.
